Can you believe over two years have past since I started this blog? I meant to keep up with it, but life got in the way. Sound familiar.
I am back and plan to stay. In the last two years, I have been knitting, knitting, knitting. Hats, scarves, fingerless gloves, slipper socks, dishclothes galore, dog coats, etc.
I plan to share with you stories, patterns, pictures and more. If you want me to make you something special; let me know.
And....drum roll.....I am going to be a grandmother to a baby girl. So, let the baby knitting begin.
But this post shows Christmas. What is with that? Well, I don't have any baby things, so I had to start somewhere!!!!! These stockings are from a discontinued stocking book Christmas Stockings by Interweave Press. The little stockings were presents for my Farkle group and contained 6 dice and the cheat sheets for scoring. Cute, yay? Oh, I have come up with a way to play Farkle with at least 12 people. Will share!!!
If you can't find the book, I will find out if I can share the patterns. Really easy! Honest.
Checking out for now. Laundry calls....not knitting right now. Must curb my enthusiasm. Oh my....

Now that I am grown up.....

what am I going to do?!?!?! Craft...what else. I just retired from 32 years of teaching special education on the high school level. You do not scare me!!!!! I am tough thanks to all the wonderful students I have had all those many decades (DECADES......how did it get to be so long!?!?!?!)
Join me on my journey of crafting my way to happiness and service. I plan to share with you the crafts I do, my mistakes, successes, patterns and so much more.
Let me know what you are doing, so we can all share our wonderful talents and ideas.
Today, I am knitting a Market Bag from a great pattern on the Lily's Sugar and Cream sight. The ones I have done are so pretty and USEFUL. They expand and carry alot. I even added knitted flowers to them.
Try this one out and let me know what you think.
I am also painting and will be sharing my projects with you.
Thought for the day - Everyone is creative. Just ask my friends who allowed me to share my lessons with them. Craft on!!!!!
